Good for them!

Not sure what Buffalo will do but regardless it’s a good start for the newest NHL franchise.

Well, if Buffalo goes Power, you’ll get a crack at the top forward in the draft.

Whomever that might be, I dunno what their scouts think. Normally I’m up on this stuff. This year seems rather scattershot because of Covid.

Unless of course, you want Luke Hughes. Start with the other LD whose name is often mentioned up top.

Queenie, I know you’re kinda the voice for the Devils fans around here.

You gonna hope for Eklund? He’s very familiar with playing alongside of Holtz. Could be a natural connection.

Since Kevin and Ron are such good buddies, how about a flip of picks for a player we steer you to pick from a different team in the expansion draft.

Kevin should just give him the pick (so they have 1 and 2) and see if the Kraken will take Skinner or Okposo off your hands!

Glad to see they got a good pick. Who knows with Buffalo picking ahead of you... Power seems like a no brainer, but Buffalo's leadership of late seems to have no brain...

Good luck. I have no ill will toward you or your fan base. However, I do think it is ridiculous that the NHL set up expansion teams to be more competitive than its already existing teams. They stack the expansion draft rules to force availability of legitimate players not just cast offs--unlike previous expansion drafts before vegas--and then jerry rig the draft so the expansion team gets an insanely high pick without even playing a game.

Love the Uniform, cant wait to see you guys get started. Just not a fan of how the NHL stacked the deck of the last 2 expansions

Ha I love that you use the terms Stack the draft rules, jerry rig the draft, stacked the deck, from a fan of the Ultimate tanking team who also benefited from those stacked rules again in 2005.

Yeah starting a new team up for failure seems like a great business model for the league.

Seattle paid 650 million for this team shut up with your whining this draft has a bunch of duds anyways.

Gotta build through the middle of the ice but a #1 defenceman is equally important. So many choices at number two

Wait your complaining how the NHL is "stacking the deck" for expansion teams...you a Penguin fan?

Talk about stacking the deck and doing whatever it takes to save a team on the brink of collapse. Mario and Syd says hi.

Their run is over and the window is closed. His whole post is sour grapes. It's a real bad look.

EDIT: Welcome to the show Seattle! Now that you're here...YOU SUCK! Let's go B's!!

Exactly... I am sure the players and the league are really upset about an expansion team getting a lottery pick and either a teams 8th best forward, 4th defenceman or backup goalie... FOR $650M!!!!! And more cap space for players to get paid.

Congrats Kraken and welcome to the NHL. Great spot at #2. Gotta believe that Buffalo goes Beneirs and trades Eichel. That leaves you with your pick of Dmen, not a bad problem to have.

What’s there to even question. Best spot in this draft imo. Buffalo takes Powers Kraken get Benniers and vice versa. I know with the cancellations all teams are going to use vastly different boards but top two appears to be a lock.

Appreciate the recognition but I know very little when it comes to drafting. Everyone is focused on Luke Hughes and Brandt Clarke. Devilville wants a D man and I understand that... and don’t disagree.

Holtz’s season has left Devils fan concerned about his play and development but there is very little talk about Eklund.

Lol that is a picture of a monkey wearing a yellow jersey from a movie made when I was a child, not a penguins jersey. Also you're the one crying about draft position? Delete your account.
